Does the lack of discipline or procrastination keep you from spending time with God?  Do you long to have more time in the presence of God but your schedule or simply not knowing where to start keep you stuck?  I want to encourage you today to check out these three simple ways to surround yourself in God's word.  

I share throughout this space, on social media, and in my videos the concept of "made for more" and I started wondering if you really understand what this concept means?"  The idea was sparked during my personal study time with God during a season when I felt like I struggled with my identity and trying to balance everything around me.  The word MORE kept coming up and I realized that God was calling me to greater and that started with standing in my role as a woman of influence.

The mind -- the playground of Satan!  It is here where he is on a mission to kill, steal, and destroy. Let's take a second and think about the magnitude of the impact that Satan's tactics have.  Your mind is the hub of your thoughts, dreams, desires, plans, etc. and from there they flow into your speech.

MC Hammer's "You Can't Touch This" was the jam back in the day and if you don't watch it, I'll still bust out doing the typewriter now! LOL So what does that have to do with my faith journey Chamel? A few days ago, I found myself just BUSY & OVERWHELMED - trying to do it all from entertaining the kiddos, house chores, cutting and prepping fabric for a sewing project, writing a blog post, outlining an upcoming e-course, and reviewing my running to do list!  Yes...to much and I slowly started to feel the "shift" - the change in my attidude that was taking on stress, doubt, and fear.
